You can really beautify your home economically using patterned concrete. There are a couple of methods so make sure you know which is best before commiting to one. One type is known as "Stamped Overlay" and although it's relatively inexpensive to install it just doesn't always hold up in the long run. It's only a thin coating that's sprayed over existing concrete and then patterned using stencils or tape.
The best and most economical method is "Concrete Engraving and Staining". Here's how it works. First, a penetrating stain is used to color the concrete. Then a permanent, precise pattern is engraved (cut) INTO the hard concrete surface with a diamond blade engraving machine. A clear top coat is applied to seal the surface area and the process is complete!
The results are stunningly beautiful and permanent.
