Concrete patterning is a method of incising a pattern into existing, hardened concrete like a driveway, sidewalk or patio. It's more commonly referred to as Concrete Engraving and is often used in conjunction with Concrete Staining.
The process much more durable than the method known as Stamped Concrete Overlays because the pattern is carved into the existing concrete and not a thin overlaid coating on top.
In concrete engraving a penetrating stain is first used to color the concrete. Then a permanent, precise pattern is engraved (cut) INTO the hard concrete surface with a diamond blade engraving machine. A clear top coat is applied to seal the surface area and the process is complete!
